We arrived at this church Sunday Night, January 11^th, 2009 about 6:30 pm.  The service was to start at 7:00 pm.  The people were excited when we arrived.  They were continuing their revival which began on New Year’s Day and was still moving forward.   The Pastor, Jim Helton, coming from a church that was not full gospel, one day fell out in the Spirit speaking in another tongue.  The church thought he had lost his mind and rejected his ministry.  After waiting on God for three years, God moved him into his own ministry.  What a tremendous man of God who will change that community with the power of God’s Spirit.  The church, RIVER”S EDGE CHURCH was started as a result of the plan of God. The people, mostly all saved since the ministry began, were filled with the Spirit and excited about the upcoming service which was about to begin. This was our first visit to this church.  The Pastor was listening to the radio when our program, The Miracle Broadcast” came on.  The Holy Spirit then spoke to him about contacting this man of God to come and preach.  He then told the Holy Spirit he had no contact information. The next day, pastor Helton went to the radio station, of which his church also has a program, and talked to the station manager about a man he heard on the radio preaching. 

He said he had no name, but he needed to find this man of God.  The station manager, now a good friend of mine, said he couldn’t figure out who he was talking about, but let him know there was an evangelist coming to town Friday night.  That’s when I received a call from Pastor Helton asking me to come.  At that time the Pastor did not know I was the man on the radio.  What a blessing when he found out! The praise and worship was astounding.  The Pastor played a flat-top guitar along with a base player and the drums.  The music radiated into every part of my being.  I looked to see mostly the whole crowd lost in worship.  It seemed that everyone was involved. They called Vicki up to sing and she did a wonderful job, singing “Calvary Is The Reason Why.”  She sang another song and the service moved into the ministry of the Word. I began my message and preached for the next 45 min to an hour.  The Anointing of the Holy spirit was my subject.  Most of these people were newly born-again, being delivered of drugs and alcohol.  They knew that he was a deliverer.   Finally we moved into the altar where the most incredible things began to happen.  I have never held such a successful meeting in all my life!  The gifts began to flow out like honey from a rock!  People were being healed left and right.  Several healed of chronic back problems, deteriating disk, slipped disc, bulging disc, neck problems, diabetes, hard hearing, near deafness, Chronic headaches, migraines, near blindness, knee surgeries and hip surgeries that left the patient with sever pain, feet problems.  God healed all that night as we just watched the Holy Spirit at work. One woman came forward near blind with very poor eyesight.  She also had sever back pain constantly.  The Lord healed her back and she was so excited that we almost forgot to pray for her eyes.   Finally, we started praying for her eyes!  I prayed once and she began to see better.  Then again, and she could see better yet!  The third time she fell out in the Spirit.  Lying there, all of a sudden she began to scream as her eyes fell all the way open.  She was so excited that she could not contain herself.  I told her if you are truly healed, then your glasses will be totally blurry.  When she put them on, she could not see anything!  The Spirit said to put them on the floor and have her jump up and down on them.  She never hesitated; she jumped up and down on those old glasses breaking them into several pieces. I have held hundreds of meeting across several states, but never has God moved so wonderfully.  At least 50 people received supernatural manifestation of the Spirit through healing in that one service!  I believe it is a new hour in which God is releasing a new measure of His Spirit in the earth.  I am excited to see what he will do in the future.
