How Can I Be Saved

How Can I Be saved?

For man to be saved, he must first realize he is lost.  What does it mean to be lost?  To be lost is to be without God in your life.  We know that Adam, the first man whom God created from the dust of the earth, was created perfect.  He was also given a choice.  In Genesis, chapter 3, we see that Adam fell away from God by his disobedience.  God said, in the day that you eat the forbidden fruit, surely you will die.  Adam lived 900 and some years after he fell away from God, so we know God was talking about spiritual death.  Adam had become spiritually dead after he sinned against God. Now you and I have to be brought back to life.  God sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). If you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you are saved!  Are you ready now?  If not, would you like to call Pastor Bill with further questions?  (859-620-7729).  If yes, then pray this prayer:

Heavenly Father, I recognize my sin and know that I need a Savior.  I believe Jesus died on the cross in my place to pay the cost for my sin!  I believe that God rose Him from the dead.  Jesus is alive!!!  Lord, now forgive me of all my sin, I receive you as my savior. amen . . .

If you said that prayer and meant it with all your heart, call Pastor Bill or someone you know and let them know what has happened to you.  Email me at contactpreacherbill@gmail.com  or call (859)-620-7729

“Heart To Heart”

Oh Holy Spirit, I’m so grateful that you’ve got this whole thing figured out.  You didn’t wake up this morning with a whole lot of new surprises on your desk.  You’re not pulling your hair because of the housing market – neither are you a stew over which way the Dow is headed.

Long ago, you counted the very hairs on my head, and in eternity past, you engraved my name both in the palms of you hands and in your heart.  A sweet smile flutters across your face as you think of me.  I bring you much pleasure.  You have named me, Gentle Spring Rain.”  Just by being here, i fill you up and overflow you with the effervescence of a water fall. Each day you fine tune me toward new growth in our relationship.  I thank you for showing me how to praise you and thank you for sanding of life’s circumstances.

Many times I’ve found myself sitting in a heap of the gravel, grit and grime: after the sandstorm passes by.  But even from that heap, i still can call out on you, calling you Lord.  You are closer than the skin that covers my body, closer than the air I breathe in through my nostrils.

Hindrances To Divine Healing

Hindrances To Divine Healing
by Author & Evangelist Bill Campbell

When I was born again back in the early 80s, I began to question the Lord about the church.  Not a particular church, but the overall church of our Lord.  I began to see people who were sick, broken down and financially in ruin.  I could not understand why the people in the church looked no different that the people who were not born-again.  I saw individuals who had developed cancer just like the cancer of those who did not serve Him.  I saw that most of the church was financially in dept and living from day to day just barely making ends meet.  I saw that most of the church had no peace.  And again, I saw many struggling with high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and many other infirmities that should not be in the church.  I cried out many times asking God why these things are prevalent in the body of Christ.

Could it be that we are much like the people in Jesus home town.  When Jesus left the place where He was brought up, his heart was filled with discouragement.  All those in His home town who were crippled died with their infirmity.  All those who were blind died with their blindness.  How horrible Jesus must have felt when He discovered that all he could do there was heal a few colds & flues, maybe a few fevers.  Unbelief was so strong that even Jesus could not heal their diseases.

3     Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. 4     But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. 5     And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them (Mark 6:3-5).

Jesus Performs A Lung Transplant

Woman Receives Lung Transplant

This story begins in the foothills of a little mountain town called Ravenna Kentucky about 35 miles east of Richmond.  The church, New Vision Full Gospel, is located in the middle of a residential area.  Pastor Buford Powell, with just a small 10 or15 person congregation, told the Lord he would take all the people that other churches did not want.  A mighty revival under the leadership of Pastor Shaun Campbell came to this little church in October of 2007 and the church grew to over 150 with 79 people giving their lives to the Lord!.  Drug dealers and whiskey moonshiners were saved and gave their lives to Jesus.

Pastor Shaun asked me to come during that great outpouring to help him with the masses of people who needed not only to be saved, but healed of all sorts of sicknesses and diseases.  Many were healed during that wonderful time in which the Lord poured out his goodness upon his people.

Since that time in 2007, I have been invited back on a regular basis, to preach the gospel and lay hands on the sick!  Pastor Buford Powell along with his wife Lisa are ministers of great faith!  It is a pleasure each time I come to see the miracles that God will do. Read the rest of this entry »

Abortion Is Not A Choice

Written By Evangelist Bill Campbell

“You will not die; your baby will be fine!  You will carry the baby full term; you will deliver the baby, and the baby will live!  Be of good cheer, for I, the Lord am with you; and so shall I be with your child!  Thus saith The Lord God almighty!”

“Brother Bill, pray for me!”  I heard a voice call out somewhere in the crowd.  As I looked to see, a young woman, with tears streaming down her face came running toward me.  In her expression, I saw the look of desperation as she arrived to stand in front of me.

The Miracle Service had just begun about an hour before.  We had enjoyed praise and worship for about thirty minutes; I had brought forth the Word of life, and the actual prayer time was just starting.  Earlier that day, I had prayed for God’s special touch to minister to His people!  I was down on my knees in the living room, crying out to the one God who could make a difference in so many desperate lives!

The Person of the Holy Spirit

Written for the Kentucky Voice Magazine

Tommy Bates Ministry

Oh, how we need Him; we really need Him!  One thing I know, that is the importance of the Holy Spirit in the present day church.  When I speak of church, I’m referring to the body of Christ made up of individuals who are born again.  Oh, how you and I need Him in our everyday lives, in our everyday walk, and through problems and situations that sometimes defy the mind!  The church, or the born-again believer, needs the Holy Spirit, not only on a daily basis, but on a moment by moment basis.  Like never before in history, we need the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives.  In this article, I want to talk about the person of the Holy Spirit and how He wants to change everything about your life.

First of all, the Holy Spirit is a gentleman.  He will never force His way into your life.  We must be willing to allow Him to change us.  His goal is to make us just like Jesus.  As a matter of fact, everything the Spirit of God does in your life is to cause you to look to Jesus, to give Him praise, to honor Him, and to point you in the way of Christ.

Once you have received Christ as your Savior, He begins to nudge you to go deeper into Christ.  His goal is for you to go deeper and deeper into the love of the Savior.  John, the Baptist, speaks in the Word of God concerning Jesus, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire” (Matthew 3:11).  It is Jesus that will baptize you in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.
