     We are Excited to Present to you the Upcoming Event of the year!
 
The 2010 Preaching Under The Stars Camp-Meeting!      

The Camp-Meeting will be on Saturday, August 28th, 2010.  We are excited this year because we have built a stage/shelter for the meeting.  We will be featuring several different gospel bands, some of them being church praise teams.  There will be at least a three hour gospel concert with a 1/2 hour intermission.  A large concession stand will be selling hot dogs and other food items along with drinks.        

Everyone is welcome!      

Saturday, August 28th, all day starting about noon!      

Bring a lawn chair and a sweater for the evening!  Other seating will be available!     

The lawn has been sprayed for insects!
     

It takes a lot of volunteers in order to make this camp-meeting a great success!   We still need several committed people!  Even if you can just help a short time, it would be a blessing! Here is a list of things that need to be accomplished!      

Set up on the morning of the meeting
Parking cars
Concession stand/product table
Cooks who will bake and slice purchaced hams and other foods
Supper: set up/ serve/clean up

Everyone needs to bring food! Bring enough food for your family and just a little extra!  The ministry will provide all the meat.  When the concert comes to a close, we will enjoy a pot luck dinner with all kinds of good things to eat.  People from several different states will come and be a great part of this meeting.  Numbers and numbers of churches will be represented.        

In the evening, about 6:30 pm, the evening camp-meeting service will begin under the new Faith In Motion Stage/Shelter.  Pastor Keith Mapes and his praise team will kick the service off, then plenty of special singing,  Evangelist Bill Campbell will be bringing the spiritual food for the evening ending with an altar service for those who need prayer.      

A campfire will be available for those who want to stay later and enjoy talking around the fire!
