Meet Bill Campbell
A Heart to Serve
Before being saved on October 5, 1982, my life was a wreck. However, Jesus changed things dramatically in my life. My life was stooped in drugs and alcohol; I was facing divorce; my hair was halfway down my back with the 70’s hippy look; and there seemed to be no hope. Jesus looked right through the rebellion and sin of my life to see the real me. Thank God He loved me the way I was and saved me from that horrible lifestyle. Although I was divorced as a result of my sin, the Lord helped me get back up and go on.
I felt the call to do something for Jesus as my life began to change. I wasn’t certain what He would have me to do, but I was willing to follow His command. I always knew if I was to get His direction, I would have to spend time with Him. I began to direct my lifestyle so that prayer and spending time with Him would be included. As a result of this, a ministry of singing and preaching in nursing homes began. We traveled from one home to the other with the Gospel, telling people everywhere that Jesus would save them from their sin. From 1982 thru 1987, I visited and held over 500 nursing home services. Hundreds gave their lives to Jesus as I began to preach the Gospel.
After a few years, I met a young Christian lady who loved Jesus and had a desire to join our ministry. I was so blessed the way this girl could sing. It seemed our voices blended so perfectly. Her ability to take on the same vision God had given amazed me. Soon we were married, singing together, in ministry together, and serving God together.
We were a happy family now with five children. Vicki had three kids from her previous marriage, and I had two kids from mine. At times, all five kids lived with us, and our hands were full, taking care of all the needs that rise in a large family. However, in 1987, my job in north-central Indiana was coming to an end. In my little hometown of Peru, there just wasn’t any work that paid well, and we would have to relocate our family. Soon, I found a position in a job shop, and we moved to Northern Kentucky in the city of Independence.
Still having the desire to follow God, I began to pray about God’s will and purpose for our lives. Through prophecy, God said I was to continue playing my guitar and singing with my wife. He said if I would do what He told me to do, miracles would break forth in our ministry, and we would see the greatest of things.
Although I was baptized in the Holy Spirit several years before, in 1995 my fellowship with the Holy Spirit became very sweet. Vicki was attending college on Monday nights, and I would come home from work and clean house. As I would clean, I began talking to God as though He was my friend. In doing so, I discovered one of the most blessed times of my life. As we would fellowship, His glory began to fall into my living room. He would say loving things to me that would cause me to weep for hours. The friendship became so great that we both looked forward to our time together. The Lord began to pour out His Spirit upon me – at times it seemed to overwhelm me.
This was the beginning of the greatest manifestations of His Spirit in my life. I attended a simple men’s prayer meeting, and miracles began to break forth as promised by the Lord. Heart conditions were healed, brain tumors were dissolved, the crippled got out of their wheelchairs, an eye that were going blind all of a sudden began to see better. For the next several years, we saw miracle after miracle take place. The crowds were numbering 50 or 60 at times, and I would pray for them individually until I was ready to drop from physical exhaustion. The gift of prophecy, the gift of healing, the gift of knowledge, and other gifts would flow in every service.
The Lord led us to Venezuela on two separate mission trips in which we saw the greatest miracles take place. We saw blinded eyes open, deaf ears open, and many other miracles. I have a desire to say to the world, “Jesus is the answer.”
The Lord led me to write my first book in March 2003 called, “The Amazing Faith That Works.” The writing of the book was a confirmation of a prophecy I had received saying, “I have put within you the ability to write.” The book contains testimonies of many phenomenal things that took place as an answer to prayer along with detailed teaching on the subject – almost 150 pages in 12 chapters.
The Lord has helped us to developed several teaching series on CD that are available through this site. Click here to see!
I have brought forth God’s word in numbers of churches, held revivals, preached on community television, served as a missionary representative, preached funerals, and performed weddings.
We attend Community Family Church in Independence, Kentucky with Pastor Tommy Bates. Ordained under Pastor Tommy, I taught adult Sunday School/Community Bible Institute from 2000 to 2005 until we moved into full-time ministry. I’ve been teaching folks that Jesus is the Savior, the Healer, the Counselor, etc. Vicki and I together, understand the importance of people and their relationship with God. We believe we are called to help mature the body of Christ in preparation for His soon coming.
In the summer of 2003, the Lord spoke to me about a nation-wide radio ministry of which we are presently involved. Our broadcast is called “The Miracle Broadcast” and airs in over 8 different states. Every week the program airs eleven times – over 500 times each year. A prayer line also has been developed of which we receive several calls per day! 859-620-PRAY
In the summer of 2005, the Lord spoke to me about full-time ministry. Being a Sales Engineer in a specialty metals shop for the past 18 years was a job that you just didn’t want to give up! Finally, in June of 2006, I left my position by faith, not having enough money to live for even a month with several outstanding debts. God has been good! Our ministry has grown, and somehow we have made it through. God always makes a way! We have lived by the honorariums that come in when we preach, along with several individuals who have become partners with this ministry!
We have been extremely busy with offices in the lower level of our home. We get up in the morning and go to work like anyone else, eight hours a day, sometimes more.
Since being full-time, I have preached in 40 different churches throughout Kentucky and our neighboring states, some of them up to 12 times, seeing God do wonders in people’s lives. Many have come to know Jesus as Savior along with many baptized in the Holy Spirit. Multiple miracles take place in our revivals; people are set free of all type of diseases. Read testimonies!
Our vision is to continue to touch every life we possibly can with the gospel of Jesus Christ until His return to rapture the church away.
